Seborrhoeic Dermatitis - Symptoms
Some of the common symptoms of seborrhoeic dermatitis are as follows:
- Severe itching of the scalp;
- Excessive white, powdery flakes on the scalp;
- Associated hair loss;
- Acceleration of the onset of male-pattern hair loss;
- Moist, sticky and greasy appearance of the hair.
Seborrhoeic dermatitis can also affect the face, especially around the nose, on the eyelids and behind the ears. Often, it shows up on the body, too, in the areas listed below:
